The rail system of this country is somewhat of a joke. The people working the trains suck and the time keeping is out of the window. One hour late travelling southwards, and 2 hours late travelling back home. And the trip was only like 500km. I mean how hard can it be to get the trains to arrive in time. The Swiss doesn’t seem to have any problem, neither have the germans. Next time I will take the car. Didn’t get any brakeparts for the Motard either so I missed todays trackday. Just went there watching and said hello to some friends. Appearantly someone that can’t read the ‘No commercials’ sign on my mailbox put a handwritten spam note referring to a unreadable URL. Kinda missed the point there. Why would I want to buy something from someone that clearly can’t read or write properly? People are really stupid these days.

So, going the South for a while. Work, work, work and also meet a friend on Friday. Nice 6-7 hour train ride, should have taken the car instead. I think I have to put up a real ad for the old Ninja, might even sell the KTM also. Been looking at a Ducati Monster 600 instead. Problaby a lot slower, since it’s about 20kg heavier than the motard but roughly the same horsepowers. But cheaper to own. Booked another two trackdays on a local SuperMotard track. Might even book two more on a ‘real track’
Lunch Time!

So after 2 days, well 1 day and 2 test rides, of trackriding I am not sure weather to sell the KTM or the Kawasaki. I was pretty sure of selling the KTM, since it will generate more money in return. But it’s still more fun to ride a motard, and much cheaper to crash. It only set me back about 60USD which is pretty cheap
The setback there is no touring, will have to stick to riding around at home, and that is pretty ok. Got me a nice car to go places with, and in that I won’t get wet

So, shit really happens. Crashed my KTM a week ago
Just a stupid lowsider in about 80 km/h and thanks to good Dainese leathers and a nice Arai helmet I just walked away.

Yes it does. Especially things you don’t want to happen… Once in a while things actually turns out well. But I guess this won’t be one of those times. Todays project will be to mount the new Michelin Power One Competition B rear tyre on the KTM. I guess 20 minutes job, and maybe a testspin. Got to prepare for trackday on Sunday
Realized that Insane Clown Posse has at least one good album, The Great Milenko for those of you with Spotify ust hit the link.

So, seems to be a pretty decent day today. No rain, yet, and no storm. This Ubuntu thingy seems to be working, just some VmWare networking stuff that just won’t seem to be solved. Usually it’s enough to just recompile the vmnet modules and my Windows machine will be able to use the bridged network.

So, finally Saturday. Magically it does not even rain today, but the day is still young. Passed the ZX-9R through scrutiny properly on Tuesday so now we are going for a ride. Probably today. Appearantly there is some ice hockey world championship currently, could not be any more boring. But at least it is F1 and I think it’s Superbike as well this weekend. Thank god, or someone, for a little light in the eternal darkness of soccer and hockey. Still can’t see what makes those sport so interesting. Used to go to drag racing on an abandoned airfield in the middle of nowhere. These guys where there every other weekend or so racing cars, and they got no govermental sponsoring. You might think that there were pretty small crowds there, since there was no advertising and such, but oh so wrong. There were as much people out in woods watching cars as there was in mittle of the city watching a derby between the two local teams, and they get a lot of money and a big stadium in the middle of the city. Sounds fair don’t you think…
