Mean.net – We still hate everyone

Today I got around to try to sell some shirts att spreadshirt.se. More exactly http://facehugger.spreadshirt.se. Just got two designs so far, more will come, trust me. They will all have some attitude At least that is the goal. Facehugger.net is my pet design project, haven’t happened much there so far, probably since I actually don’t have a decent computer to work on. Also I went to a trackday with some friends last week, didn’t ride anything though. Should have taken his KTM RC8 for a spin but he managed to bend both brake disks while trying to change front tyre. But now I really need to get me a streetbike

So, got finally got rid of that old Ninja. Now we just need to get rid of that old KTM as well.  Had a real nerd night the other day.  Found out that the lateste Cisco ASA software, 8.2.1, supports Netflow so I hacked together that and also SoftFlow on a Linux machine to get some data to analyze. Seems to be working. So the setup is like this, flowd running on a OpenBSD 4.5 that logs all the data. ASA 5505 and a Debian exporting data, might add some hosts later. Now I just need some nice graphing tools for this. Cacti does not do that otu of the box. Found something called FlowScan that I will look into really soon. Looks like it is pretty nifty software, and it was also in the Debian APT repository.

So, going the South for a while. Work, work,work and also meet a friend on Friday.  Nice 6-7 hour train ride, should have taken the car instead. I think I have to put up a real ad for the old Ninja, might even sell the KTM also. Been looking at a Ducati Monster 600 instead. Problaby a lot slower, since it’s about 20kg heavier than the motard but roughly the same horsepowers. But cheaper to own.  Booked another two trackdays on a local SuperMotard track.  Might even book two more on a ‘real track’ Lunch Time!

So after 2 days, well 1 day and 2 test rides, of trackriding I am not sure weather to sell the KTM or the Kawasaki. I was pretty sure of selling the KTM, since it will generate more money in return. But it’s still more fun to ride a motard, and much cheaper to crash. It only set me back about 60USD which is pretty cheap The setback there is no touring, will have to stick to riding around at home, and that is pretty ok. Got me a nice car to go places with, and in that I won’t get wet

So, shit really happens. Crashed my KTM a week ago Just a stupid lowsider in about 80 km/h and thanks to good Dainese leathers and a nice Arai helmet I just walked away.

Yes it does. Especially things you don’t want to happen… Once in a while things actually turns out well. But I guess this won’t be one of those times. Todays project will be to mount the new Michelin Power One Competition B rear tyre on the KTM. I guess 20 minutes job, and maybe a testspin.
